The Story
A local restaurant reached out for help revamping their website. This was designed and published fully using WordPress, which proved to pose both new challenges and advantages for me. They requested that I use red throughout the website, since it’s used in their pre-existing logo, so I kept the color palette simple with black, off-white, and red, with yellow as an accent color.
The Pages
Their original website had a landing page, an About Us, and an Hours and Contact page. I added more information about the restaurant and owners to their new About Us along with pictures of the exterior and interior. For the Contact page, I added a form to make it easier for customers to submit feedback.
I also added a brand new Menu page. Digital menus are important for any restaurant, both to attract new customers and encourage regulars to try out new things. I used their physical menus to copy over all the items digitally.
